Description:
New Mexico's first community college founded in 1950 in Carlsbad.

Programs:
Associate degrees and certificate programs prepare students to enter the workforce directly following completion of their education. Transfer programs allow students to complete freshman and sophomore level courses for their baccalaureate degrees. Courses at NMSU-C are equivalent to those at NMSU in Las Cruces and are transferable to institutions throughout the U.S. Selected graduate and upper-division instruction is available.
