ANNOUNCEMENT OF POSITION AVAILABILITY
Title: Intake Advisor, NM Workforce Connection (2009007356)
Effective Date: November 2, 2009 or as soon as possible
Salary: $26, 120.95
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include an earned Bachelor’s degree in Social Services or related field and one year of related work experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work with a multicultural population preferred. Must have excellent organizational skills, skills in planning (short and long-range), public contact, report preparation and presentation, ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form, develop and maintain effective working relationships, maintain accurate records, organize, direct, and supervise multiple activities, analyze and evaluate information, and other related duties and responsibilities as described below.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Intake Advisor will be responsible for individual contact with project participants, obtain basic information and provide that information to the support staff for entry into a computer database, provide program information to the participant, as well as, information for referrals to other local agencies, help participants develop individual plans for service, tracking participants, work with other staff as necessary, and perform other job related duties as assigned.
