NMSU-Carlsbad Bridge Scholarship

2.5 GPA

NM Resident

Full Time status (12 or more credit hours)

Covers tuition and required fees for first semester only

Must complete the Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form

 

2.5 GPA

Requires enrollment in 14 credit hours

Can not receive additional aid

Covers tuition and required fees, course fees and required books

     
NMSU-Carlsbad Eddy County Scholars

Top 20% of Eddy County High School Class

Full-time status

Covers tuition and required fees plus $250 book stipend for first and second semesters only

Must complete the FAFSA form

  NM high school graduate or NM General Equivalency Diploma (GED) and enroll immediately in a New Mexico college, earn a 2.5 GPA and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours your first semester.  The lottery scholarship will cover your tuition (required fees are not covered) beginning with your second semester. No application necessary.

Note:  It is important that you enroll immediately following graduation or receive your GED.  This is the only time you can establish eligibility for the lottery success scholarship.  For example, May graduates/GED recipients need to register full time for the Fall semester (August-December). December graduates/GED recipients need to register full time for the Spring semester (January-May).
