My sincere welcome to you, on behalf of the Adult Basic Education (ABE) faculty, and staff we welcome you to our campus and wish you success in your academic endeavors. The ABE prides itself on the premise that “ABE Changes Lives” by providing educational opportunities to ALL individuals in the Eddy County community and the surrounding areas.

Our primary goal is to provide programs in Basic skills development, GED preparation and courses for English as a Second Language (ESL).

In collaboration with NMSU-Carlsbad, we wish to be a bridge to the academic and vocational programs at NMSU-Carlsbad and statewide post secondary programs.

In this way we hope to prepare you to enter into the workforce well-prepared in the career of your choice.
